Trademarks. The names, trademarks, service marks, and logos of SCUP appearing on this site are owned by SCUP (the “marks”) and may not be used in any advertising, publicity, or otherwise to indicate SCUP affiliation, without SCUP’s prior express written permission. Use of the marks in a manner not consistent with such policies may result in discipline including reprimand, suspension, or revocation and the loss of the use of such marks. Use of the marks without authorization also may result in a legal action for trademark infringement.

SCUP HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING THE CONTENTS OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ALL WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Links. Although SCUP may include links providing direct access to other internet sites, SCUP has not participated in the development of those other sites, and does not exert any editorial or other control over those other sites. SCUP, therefore, takes no responsibility for the content or information contained on, or reliability, security, or privacy policies of, those other sites.

Linking to the SCUP website. When referring to pages on the SCUP website from another website, please link to the web page from which individual files are linked, rather than to the individual files themselves (including but not limited to PDFs, PowerPoints, word processed documents or graphics). Such files should never be linked to or copied from the SCUP server for use on another site. Permission is never needed to link to pages on the SCUP website. We appreciate that you find value in our site and that you encourage others to use it by linking to our materials.

No Legal or Professional Advice. The information contained in this website has been prepared or compiled by SCUP as a service to its members and is not intended to constitute legal advice or the rendering of legal or consulting services of any kind. Users of this website should not in any manner rely upon or construe the information or resource materials on this website as legal or other professional advice and should not act or fail to act based upon the information in this website without seeking the services of a competent legal or other professional.

A Word On “Cookies”. Cookies are small items of data that some websites either write to the computer hard drive upon visiting the site(s) or store in the browser. These data files contain information the site can use to organize the pages members have visited on a particular website. Some of our websites may use “cookie” technology to measure site activity and tailor information to fit personal interests. In this way, SCUP can deliver tailor-made information suiting member interests upon the next visit to our site(s). Our use of “cookie” technology is, thus, to provide members with a more individualized delivery of information and an optimal viewing experience.

Our Commitment To Data Security. Because member privacy is important to SCUP, we have installed safeguards to secure the credit card information we collect online. Our e-commerce site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology supported by popular browsers to protect your online transactions. SSL encrypts your credit card number, name, address, and phone number before they travel over the Internet. SCUP also uses additional technologies and measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure appropriate use of this information.
