Benchmarking for Sustainability
Presenter(s): Jerry Yudelson, Interface Engineering Inc.
Sustainability means many things to many people yet there are clear standards available for benchmarking new and existing facilities. Attendees will learn how to use standards from the U.S. Green Building Council (the LEEDĀ system), the Natural Step and various other green building rating systems to develop campus-wide and system-wide standards for sustainability. You will learn how to respond to sustainability policies, how to communicate with the relevant stakeholders, and how to integrate sustainability into the curriculum. Implications for marketing and fund-raising will also be presented. |

| Due to our concern for the privacy of members of the face-to-face audiences at SCUP37, our digital archives of SCUP37 presentations end at the beginning of the question and answer portion of each session. Whenever we can, we not only provide streaming audio but the slide show or visual presentation used by the presenters, as well. |
