Implementing Strategic Plans (Making Dreams Come True): The Saga Continues
Presenter(s): Thomas B. Flaherty, Central Connecticut State University; Gerald C. Werner, Werner Consulting, LLC
This presentation continues the discussion begun at SCUP36 regarding focused planning and budgeting at Central Connecticut State University. We will report on the continuing sagaour success in getting resources to follow rhetoricand will attempt to apply learned principles to other institutions. Our methodology is simple: identify the most important objectives to be accomplished, then direct institutional energy (money and effort) in those directions. The problems of institutional inertia and fractiousness need to be overcome to make it work. |

| Due to our concern for the privacy of members of the face-to-face audiences at SCUP37, our digital archives of SCUP37 presentations end at the beginning of the question and answer portion of each session. Whenever we can, we not only provide streaming audio but the slide show or visual presentation used by the presenters, as well. |
