Planning for Leadership
Presenter(s): Warren L. Hills and Dan J. Hurley, Ferris State University
This session will provide planners with a model and methods to manage the most important resource of all-human capital. In the era of the "free agent" employee, planners will increasingly need to assist with strategic employee recruitment, retention, and development issues. The presenters will provide a comprehensive review of Ferris State University's exceedingly successful employee leadership development programs, designed to familiarize employees with the institution and motivate them to develop their own leadership styles. The program's curriculum and evaluation will be featured. |

| Due to our concern for the privacy of members of the face-to-face audiences at SCUP-36, our digital archives of SCUP-36 presentations end at the beginning of the question and answer portion of each session. Whenever we can, we not only provide streaming audio but the slide show or visual presentation used by the presenters, as well. |
