First Time Attending?
Welcome to your first SCUP annual, international conference!
SCUP events are great ways to build the connections you need to help answer your big and small planning questions. Remember, your best resource is probably only a handshake away.
Here are ways to make connections at the conference:
- SCUP Connection—Gather together with other early arrivals for an informal meeting, Saturday, July 19.
- New Members Orientation—Not a member? Not to worry. This event is open to anyone. Join us and learn about what being a SCUPer means.
- Reception in the Idea Marketplace—Exchange ideas and information, knowledge and learning, Sunday, July 20.
- President's Reception—Enjoy an evening of heavy hors douvres and endless opportunities to make new friends (this will be at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel), Sunday, July 20. (This is available to full and Sunday only registrants)
- Regional Meeting—Network with colleagues from your region and find out what's planned for 2008-09, Monday, July 21.
- Wine and Cheese Reception in the Idea Marketplace—Who can say "no" to wine and cheese? Join us Monday, July 21.
- Dine Arounds—Don't eat alone. Join other attendees based on either cuisine or topic Saturday, Monday, and/or Tuesday night. More information will be available shortly.
Please note: The Montréal Convention Center will be the site for registration, educational sessions, and the Idea Marketplace. There will be complimentary shuttle transportation provided between the conference hotel(Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth) and the convention center.
