SCUP is again offering eight openings for our Vendor Presentation Sessions at SCUP38. These sessions provide opportunities for vendors and consultants to present their products, services and projects to targeted audiences during 60-minute sessions. The three tracks identified for this conference, Passports to Planning are listed below. Four Vendor Presentation Sessions will take place on Monday, July 21, three on Tuesday, July 22, and one on Wednesday, July 23. These sessions are identified as vendor presentations in the conference program and are offered concurrently with other optional educational sessions. Your proposal should follow one of these three tracks.
Track 1: Establishing Identity
Like an individual seeking a passport, each institution must establish an identity. Without an identity, or mission, an institution has no basis for understanding its place in the world or for communicating with others. This track invites proposals dealing with intra-institutional issues.
- Institutional identity and mission
- Prioritizing institutional needs
- Fostering internal partnerships
- Lifelong learning

Track 2: Traveling Across Borders
With passports, individuals travel beyond their own borders and interact with individuals and groups from different cultures. Likewise, an institution armed with self-knowledge can interrelate with its communities of interest and other institutions to establish and manage its place in its market and in the world. This track invites proposals involving institutional interaction with its external environment.
- International education
- Population and enrollment forecasts
- Managing external relations
- International needs and influences
- Access to education
- Attracting faculty
- Partnership Routes
- Campus perimeters
- Elements of good planning
- Using technology to span educational reach
Track 3: Changing Itineraries
Institutions are faced with constant change. To be successful, they must be creative in navigating uncertain climates. They must find new ways to address and respond to their environments. This track invites proposals with innovative solutions to help institutions adapt to change.
- Innovative learning environments
- Interdisciplinary planning adventures
- Alternative futures
- Traveling with technology
- Competing for grants
- Public demands for education
- Disaster mitigation & safe learning environments
- Radical solutions
